Affiliate Disclosure
Some links on this site are booking links. If a reader books through one, the guide may earn a commission. That never affects which places are listed, how they are ranked, or what they cost.
The Links That Earn a Commission
Most tour links on this site lead to a live booking page, and a booking made through one of those links pays this site a commission. The two free, pay-what-you-want walking tours in the roster link to their own booking pages on the same terms. Beyond tours, links to partners for stays, car hire, airport transfers, luggage storage, bus tickets, eSIMs and bike hire also earn a commission when they lead to a purchase. The price you pay never changes because of it. Booking through a link here costs you nothing extra, and booking direct costs exactly the same.
What Never Earns a Cent
Not everything here is monetized. The two pay-what-you-want walks earn nothing, since you only tip the guide if you wish. Chicago parking advice appears with no link attached, because no partner sells it. When a link goes straight to an operator's own site, there is no commission in it either. These plain links sit beside the affiliate ones, not behind them, so you can tell the difference by context rather than guesswork.
What Money Never Decides
No operator pays to appear on this site, and none can buy a higher place in a list. What gets included, and in what order, is an editorial call made before any commercial question is raised. Ratings and review counts shown beside each tour are the booking platforms' own published figures, reproduced exactly. Where a tour's figures could not be confirmed, no number is invented to fill the gap. The same rule applies to prices: they live on the live booking page, not in our copy, because they move.
